South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association Players of the Year announced

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - More than a month after the final buzzers sounded on their high school careers, some of the top prep basketball players in the state held court again this evening at the Sanford Pentagon during the 2024 South Dakota All-Star Games.

The South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association announced their players of the year during halftime of each game. The awards went to Sioux Valley’s Alec Squires and Tea Area’s Katie Vasecka, each out of Class A and each on their way to play college basketball at South Dakota State next year, respectively.
